I never went more than 3750 between changes, BUT I did go to Jiffy Lube. So I suspect they may have only filled up 4.5 quarts. If you look in the FSM you have to wait at least 10min to accurately gauge how much oil is in the crankcase. Anyway... new engine for me and never returning to Jiffy Lube

Why in the hell would they only fill up with 4.5 qts? Its more work to do that than it is to simply put the 5 in....

I really don't think thats your problem...

Low miles, LOVE IT

My 2004 G35 6MT has 39,400 miles. I have loved every single one, and I become more attached every day. She just turned ten years old!

Autocross? Check.
Track day? Check.
Drift event? Check.
Greatest exhaust note since the invent of internal combustion? Check.

Whew..that's some good miles. If you don't mind me asking, how much did you pay for it? If you'd rather not say, that's cool. Just wondering what our cars are going for with almost 200k on the clock.

In the Midwest 10k private party fetches you 125k, 6-7k for 200K.

Coupes 03-07 alike. Trim style does not seem To matter.

paid 5800 for it. it had been meticulously taken care of by the previous/first owner. not a crack or tear on the leather seats! only thing wrong was the drivers window motor went out and needed rear shocks. I'm a tech and got the parts through work for $0 and about 2hrs of my time

Very good. I know its cuz there is a strong following for the car, but nonetheless i like how my 10 yr old car is still worth more than a 5 yr old 3-series.
