I just bought my first g35 3 days ago it's an 03 blue g35 with 83,xxx on it, found it on cars.com for 9995 the jerks at the dealership tried telling me that was a cash price and the actual price was 12,000, I laughed and said nope I'm paying 9995 and that's final he "talked" to his manager and said the best they could do was 10,100 I said nope I'm only doing 9995 that's final he went back and talked to him again and finally agreed to the price, I still feel like I over payed :/

2005 G35 Sports Package - 153,000 -- anything I should be aware of with these mileages? Any recommendations for mechanic in NYC / LI / Upstate area?

thanks!

I just hit 126k miles, I'm having numerous problems (according to the mechanic) a faulty airbag sensor behind the steering wheel, causing the airbag light to flash. He's "fixed" it twice and yet it still is blinking. The low tire pressure light keeps flashing on mine for 6 months despite them claiming to have fixed it numerous times. On top of that the seat motor failed, making it move forward all the way while I'm driving on the highway (sucks if you're 6' 4"). Brakes squeal at low speeds despite mechanic claiming to have fixed it about 3 times. Leather and upholstery is coming apart (assuming from the Texas heat)... oh and twice the car alarm has gone off non-stop, perfectly timed at 2 in the morning (once again, mechanic claimed to have fixed it the first time, and caused it the first time). Other than that, you're good

but seriously, I'm just bitching, these problems most likely aren't yours, just pick a good mechanic and for GODS SAKE do NOT go to Carmax lol! Sucks being under warranty through a shitty mechanic.

New Hope Auto - 61st street between 8th avenue and Fort Hamilton parkway in Brooklyn.
Best mechanic in brooklyn imo, tell Roger that Kurt sent you and you'll get a friendly discount

As for potential problems you should be aware of at that mileage:
Worn out differential bushings causing the fluid to leak
Timing belts
Oil leaking out through valve covers
Misfires from certain coil packs

Im at 100k and those were the 3 problems that I ran through.
