Please help.....possible new owner

So ive been looking for a new car, i was lookin into an 04 BMW 330CI. but i recently saw this 06 g35 coupe with 89k miles, 6-speed, bose sound, navigation. just wondering what you experts on here think about the mileage on this car and what might need to be done, i will ask for the maintenance records and do you think I should take it to a infinity dealership so they can inspect it??

the askin price of the dealership is 15600. How much is good if i am financing and how much would be good if i was paying cash in full??

also whats the best color for these cars haha. jp. its a black g35.

89k miles for 15.6k is pretty high up there. Try getting it for about 13-14k. You need to check if it has oil consumption issues. Here's a thread explaining it. Infiniti Rev-Up Oil Consumption TSB

And everybody has a different opinion about the "best" color for these cars. I think all the colors look great, but I'm more biased towards Ivory Pearl cause I have an IP haha.

Where I live, that's a pretty normal price. I see 04's with the same mileage selling for around 14k all day. The OC issue is your biggest concern as long as all other things check out fine. Goodluck.

That's quite high for that price.. I got mine for 17k with extended warranty and only 60k miles with all records. Try looking a bit longer. I paid a bit more because it hit all my criteria, the color scheme, warranty, under 70k miles, has all records and a 6mt. I'd rather pay more now to save more later. Good luck with your search.

guess depending on where you live. seems high for my area, but of course, its a dealership and you can always negotiate. I would look into lower miles if poss for that money.

my G was just totaled and I bought a BMW (645) and I can tell you, the maintenance is MANY more times than the cost of a G so factor that in also.

I believe black is the hardest to keep clean because any dust, it would show on the black background. I had a black DA9 before.. and MY GOD it was a B***** to keep clean. I wash it one day and the next it looks as if I hadn't touch it for weeks! At least my DG G looks relatively clean even when it is dirty.. and by dirty I mean washing it 3 days ago dirty. lol As I have said, keep on looking. But if you're really set on that G, dealers are always willing to negotiate a price. They want to sell the car more than you want to buy it. Keep it that way or you're in for a bad buy.
