How long should a shortblock replacement take?
Hey guys,
After 5 oil consumption tests, my g35 finally went in for service at a local dealership here in Toronto. I was warranted a shortblock. The initial given time for the work was 1 week, which was extended another couple days, and then extended just recently fir a total of 2 weeks completion.
My question is, how long should a short block replacement really take? 2 weeks sounds way too long.

its up to the shop, ive seen it only take a week and in my case it took 2 MONTHS!
basically if the GM does his job it wont take long if not itl be a while..... just drive the loaner hard as ***** till you get it back
