Piece was custom, designed by Zackt69 (RareJDM) and done by Auto Explosion.

Why do it? I don't think the power gains would be worth hacking up an expensive headlight. You'd get far better gains from a MREV2/Spacer combo.

I just bought a set of OEM Projector's, so my Stock 04 headlights are sitting in my garage.

they are starting to yellow, and have more chips then Pringles. So I wasnt planning on selling them.

Has he (rare jdm) commented on any gains becuz of this? Also have a spare pair of headlights. Would do this and swap them in when i go to the track if there were any gains.

Excatly. I would think performance gains are minimal. Probably more for looks and just the "cool" factor at shows.

I know Zack (RareJDM) personally and he would not do a mod like this for looks and the cool factor at shows. He goes to more track events a year than shows and is looking to eek every bit of performance out of his car. Even if this help just a tiny bit its worth it on his car where fractions of a second count on the track.

I'm sure he'll chime in on this.

lol I love how everyone just jumps on the "gains are minimal" bandwagon.

You guys do know...a bunch of minimal gains added together results in more than minimal gains, right?
