^^correct and this is why the NA crowd is never as popular as the FI crowd.......most go for the easy route.......i'm not saying NA makes more....of course FI makes alot more. But when u get the NA that most give up on....its much more rewarding

Must be fun following other cars in a rainstorm. Can you say 'water lock"?

I wouldn't say never...it rained this weekend. But I get what you mean.

But I have an Injen intake and my intake sits literally less than 6 inches from the ground, and I have yet to have a problem...

I'm not sure if it has any gains, but it doesn't look bad to me.. I guess when it speaks/post he will let everyone know if it has gains or not over the normal style intake that everyone else has

The main reason for that intake is for cooler air, it is not a power adder.

I think it looks cool, its unique.

But cooler air helps increase power output...so technically...

I don't feel like quoting half this thread. As already mentioned, the pictured G35 is a "track" car. The interior is gutted and if I'm not mistaken has a roll cage built in. Someone who devotes that much to build a track car will do whatever it takes for it to perform better. I would not recommend doing this mod on a DD thats not tracked as it probably won't do anything for you.
