Zackt69 / Rare JDM Progression Thread
Well it's been about 5 1/2 years since I got my car, and it's about time for a build thread. When I got the car I had no intention of showing it, much less racing it... but after meeting Gabe, Viet and Marty, I quickly got hit with the modding bug. After showing for a couple of years, I attended my first autocross event and became hooked. Autocross led to drifting (in the 240sx), and that led to Time Attack. As it sits now with the cage, the car is pretty much useless for anything other than racing, and while I still do daily drive it, it's only a matter of time before I'm going to get a beater (climbing over the roll cage gets old fast).
Thanks to Gabe, Dave, Darren, (the RRydes crew) Marty, Viet, Randy, Chris, Kurtis, Marcus, Jimmy and John, for all the great memories and help along the way! Thanks to Berk Technology, Cosworth USA, Nitto Tire, Smartwax, Sparco, Technosquare and Work Wheels USA for all the support! Most importantly, thanks to my wife Cheryl for putting up with this, never hassling me once, and always coming out to the events!
Anyhow... on to the pics!

Thanks for all the comments everyone
Thanks man! I was looking at your progression thread last night and decided I should finally make one. It's cool to see 2 similar cars progress in 2 totally different directions. Every time I see your car, you got some more of the little details worked out
Thanks Chris! I need to check out your new audio setup. I was so beat at Wekfest, I only made it over to the larger building for awards. From what I hear though, it looks and sounds amazing.
This year, I think the engine and trans are going to remain as is. Technosquare did a great job, and the engine has been super reliable so far. Went on a 2000+ mile rally one week, and then headed to the track the following weekend... the car runs great! Next year, depending on how things look, I may be doing some sort of engine/trans swap and moving into a different class. I'm considering an LS swap... but who knows.
