Here's a shot of the new SSR Type-F wheels I picked up. They are 5-6 pounds lighter per wheel compared to my previous setup, and have much larger brake clearances

look's awesome Zack. have you looked into the Stoptech Trophy kits? the STR-40 front w/STR-22 rear setup is SUPER light and can be had for right around 5k. i almost picked up a set but the OEM Brembo calipers are so light it was just too hard to justify for me w/o more dedicated track time.

Thanks man! Yeah, I had talked with Stoptech earlier this year... but was real limited on selection due to the barrel size on my last wheels. The Trophy kits definitely look like a great option now that I can run brakes bigger than 328mm.

New wheels look great Zack. Nice that you were able to get a much lighter set with tons of BBK clearance.

Here's a pic of a Type F 18x10.5 +15 on a greddy 14" kit, The face usually isn't an issue with 14" kits, it's usually the barrel/drop center that you're concerned with and these wheels clear the BBK with no issues. Any stoptech kit shouldn't be a problem as well

Haven't updated this in a few months, and a couple things have changed...

Added Lexan rear quarter windows, I'll be doing the rear window next.

Installed a Koyo radiator, removed the center of the core support/hood latch, removed AC/lines/condenser, and installed a Fluidampr crank pulley.

Took out the door panels, center console, and removed a lot of unused wiring and connectors.

Forgot that I also fabricated a rear aluminum diffuser just before Wekfest San Francisco this year... only pic I have of it for some reason.

Added a Naca duct to the drivers side. Duct is attached to a pump with a hepa filter that attaches to my helmet for fresh/cool air while on track.
