Alright guys, so I'm about to place my order for tints, and I'll probably end up getting them from bluebat, however, I'm a bit undecisive and need some help! Which one looks better? Keep in mind I have an 05 OB coupe. Also, don't worry about the whole GTR overlays are legal and whatnot. I'm aware of that, but if all black looks better, then I'll just get that. So anyways, in you guys' opinions, which one?

#1- GTR


#2- GTR with center surrounds



or #3- Just all black

 

I think #1 looks best on your color. Normally I don't like it.

 

#3 but that shade of tint not completely blacked out

 

True. If I go with that I'd prob do opaque black

 

Tail light tint is illegal in all states so I suggest the GT-R tint where the tail lights are still visible. This only applies if you're not in law enforcement where laws don't apply!

I would still like to know what you guys think regardless of what's legal or not.

 

My honest $.02 = Don't tint them at all. I personally feel that it's tacky.

 

Have you thought about doing 3/10 tint GTR with centers? That way it keeps the clean contrast of the red tails but also mixes up the color a bit to make them stand out, IMO.

 

I think the #3 looks great in that shade, too dark looks tacky to me.

i appreciate the input but i think im going to do it no matter what.. even for those of you who dont like the tinted lights, i would still like to know what you guys think looks best.

 

What does it matter who likes it best then? It's what YOU like not the rest of the forum. Do whichever floats your boat. In the end of it all, you're the one who has to look at it everyday. Good luck in your decision.

 

I can't ask for opinions? Granted, if not tinting tail lights is your opinion, that's fine. But please don't come on here and say not to do it, when that's not what I'm asking. I'm asking for opinions on which on looks better. If you think they all look like crap, then that's you. But why comment?

 

Did you even read my post? Here, I'll simplify: it's your car and you're the one who has to look st it everyday so YOU should choose what you like. You're modding your car to your liking right? Not to appease a forum right? Then who gives a flying fawk what you choose because in the end you could have majority vote for one and still choose another because you didn't like the popular vote. Amirite?
