Oil Dipstick hits Injen Cold Air Intake
Oil Dipstick hits Injen Cold Air Intake
Hey guys,
After I installed my Injen CAI I noticed that the factory oil dipstick rubs up on the side on of the intake. It's also hard to get in and out. I was just wondering if anyone had a fix for this or if there are any aftermarket dipsticks that I could buy. Thanks.

I'm at school and I don't have my car with me so I can't take any pictures. Maybe when I get home I can mess around with the dipstick and see if it works. Thanks guys.
I remember my dipstick was close when I had that intake, but can't remember if it always hit it. You could just slightly bend the handle so it doesn't hit. On my current setup the dipstick will rub against the piping if I allow it. Simply guide the stick out with your fingers so it doesn't hit anything.
Dip sticks have always been a PIA with our first gen G35s but like mentioned above they will move back and forth. Without pic I'm only guessing but you should be able to adjust how your Injen intake is installed to give you more room. That's how it works with my Futita intake....Gary
