Fresh off a weekend detail

Gave my coupe a well deserved inside and out detailing.

Clay bar'd
Polished
Waxed
Wheels removed and cleaned
Calipers cleaned
Wheel wells cleaned
Seats removed & treated
Carpets shampoo'd
Floormats shampoo'd
Engine cleaned

Yeah, did it myself. My arms were like jello after. No power tools for me. The thing I found crazy was that the rear of the car, (trunk, rear bumper), had about 10x build up in the clay than the front of the car. You would think from all the road grime and bugs the front would be crazy nasty, but it wasn't. The front hardly left anything in the clay

I need to re-dust the engine. Wiping off all the wax just dirtied it up again.

Oh, and to anyone reading this. Do not use Meguiars Ulltimate Wax. I used the ultimate polish, it worked pretty good. Went to follow up with the wax, COULD NOT wipe/buff it off. Called Meguiars, and they said they've had reports of it before. Apparently it was a problem with the polymers fully curing, so they refunded my money.

How much did the supplies run you? I want to detail mine when the weather gets nicer or just thinking of getting it done by some mobile dude..

For the engine bay cleaning did you just wrap a towel around the alternator and maf sensor then spray a engine bay cleaner and rinse off with a hose?
