2009 base sedan wheels on 2003 coupe?
Hi peeps,
So can I run this setup? I believe the sedan wheels are currently stock at 225/55/17 and I'm hoping to maintain my coupe staggered setup and will just get tires that run the stock 235/50/17 rear and 235/50/17 front (no Brembos). Will this work? At this point I don't even know if both have the same bolt pattern or if lowering the profile aspect and size slightly will work? Thanks in advance to all the smart people out there who can confirm!
(I posted int he wheels section but no one seems to go there...)

Two tires are constantly low on air. I didn't see any nails. Googling said that with chrome wheels sometimes they rust and flake off and the seam the rubber connects to slowly leaks air, or the stem valve area could be the issue.
My friend is getting new rims for his 2009 sedan, so I figured I could use his 17" rims and just get new tires. I found the bolt pattern is e same: 5-114 (or 5-144 I forget exactly but I know it's the same) so it should work right?*
Moral of the story: never get chrome wheels lol...

G35 sedan w/ too much money in mods

Hey stop the chrome hate.
You need to figure out the offsets of the sedan wheels, my guess they're somewhere in the +35-40 range and they will look super sunken in on a coupe and might cause issues hitting the suspension.

Also you could take it to a tire shop and they can replace a valve stem and even sand the flaking chrome off and apply some bead sealer for next to nothing. I know discount tire co. does it for free. the bolt pattern is 5x114.3 for both vehicles

I love my chrome wheels, until now lol... I thought all 17" wheels were the same, didn't know I needed spaces/offset configurations, etc. Those are foreign terms to me.
I made the mistake of talking to a guy at Big-O Tires and he was like $40 to "repair" each one if it really is the bead. Then the seal will probably "hold" for a few months
So I left, 'cause why the hell do I want a 2 month solution?
I like the sanding down idea, as I've googled it as well. I just can't find a place that can do it properly (or at least for my peace of mind). I don't think there are any Discount Tires places near the SF Bay Area?
