I see this as being a win win

The car isn't totaled and you can spend some of the higher estimate money on some upgrades....andthe girl will fully let you go to town on her bum for weeks

But if this is a true story, she didn't do it on purpose to spite you.. so I'd say just let it go since she is already paying for it through insurance. I gotta say, it's a pretty a**hole move to call the insurance company on your GF.. but.. that's just me.

Salvage both of what you can. Your car and your relationship with your GF. If you even considered breaking up with her solely on this incident.. you're probably better off without her. It would only make you think of the G when you get into an argument with her.
