if the ipl was offered on the v35 what would it have?

Don't get too defensive about people shooting down your idea. Do what you want. It is "your own" version.

My logic behind the Badge in its this, My dad has had a plain jain 69 camaro for years, it has z28 badges because it looks better, it has a cowl hood becuase it looks better, and it has a spoiler. It also has Chevelle SS style stripes as opposed to camaro (there is a difference), its a Ford orange too, It was a 4 speed car that was bought with a T5 in place of it, now has a Th350, and has had mutlitple motors, 350,355,383,406 to a 355 again. I gave my dad my turbo stuff for my caprice to put in the camaro so it will be twin turboed too. Just because the factory didnt do it like that, doesnt make it stupid to do.
IPL IS BRAND NEW, only car to have it is a 37, I know a guy who made a caddilac fleetwood (RWD 5.7 one) into a V series and that car was clean as hell, had more then just the badge. It was cool to think that if caddi had made the V series starting with that model instead of the CTS. It had a 6 speed in it aswell IIRC. It looked awesome. M series has a name for itself the IPL does not yet
So Id like to make my own version of what I think the IPL should have been if it was made on the 35. Seems like more people are upset about the badge then anything else.

if i were to do an IPL version of my G35, i would start with the paint and get the same paint code as the G37 IPL, change the interior to red and black, some OEM Nissan Wheels by Rays, different settle looking front lip and rear bumper, intake, exhaust, sportier suspension and it would be almost comparable to the G37 IPL. The ipl doesn't have that much engine mods for what your paying for, not that special, just one of a kind in looks not performance.
I hope when you do this conversion you get as close to that of the real thing , i would like to see this happening,
GOOD LUCK

Is this actually a thread where you want to discuss what would have been on a IPL v35 coupe? Or are you just trying to justify why you are about to put some IPL badges on your car? It sounds like the latter.
Just when I thought people doing Skyline 350-GT badging were the worst kind of posers, then this rolls out. Sounds like a bad idea.
To answer the original question- IPL would have a special OEM exhaust, lowered an inch, special wheels and appearance/lip kit. Outside of that, probably specially tuned to push 315-320 HP at the crank.

I don't get why you would want to sport a IPL badges on your g35. Infiniti really shouldve waited until they had a real
M3 competitor before bringing out the IPL...similar to what lexus did with the isf. The ipl just seems like something infiniti made up to fit a price point with the BMW 335i and Audi s4. At least with the 335i you get a turbo and with the s4 you get a supercharger
