Attempted to fix actuators, passenger window stopped working
Hey guys last week I was trying to do the $5 actuator fix and I had a lot of trouble with it and ended up running out of time in the day so I couldnt finish. I had only taken the passenger panel off(was working on driver side) before I ran out of time and had to put it back on. After that my passenger window no longer works. It will go up and down a little each time i open or close the door, but it wont roll down at all. The car was turned off the whole time so it has to be a connection somehow... any advice?
And if anyone near STL would be willing to do the actuators (already have the parts) I could pay them, I tried to ask questions in the thread but no response. Please help!

As far as the window, open up the panel and remove the motor. There are three screws on the motor, take these off and open up the motor. Clean the copper section. It should be coated very heavily with carbon buildup. Also clean the Inside of the motor housing, it should be caked in carbon buildup. Use q-tips and rubbing alcohol. I just did this last weekend, and my motor is working fantastic. Before, it wouldn't even want to roll up. The reason this works is because the carbon buildup doesn't allow the proper voltage. As far as the $5 actuator fix, I can't help. I replaced mine with a OEM actuator.
I did both my door lock actuators last night and while i was doing the passenger side I cleaned the window motor. Before I cleaned it it would only go up and down a little when opening the door, but the switch wouldnt work. Now it won't go anywhere when I open my door or with the switch. My motor was pretty clean
