'05 EOM wheels and tire

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

So in 2 weeks I have a set of the new '05 OEM rays 19'' wheels coming in. I need help with picking out tires for these wheels. I'd like to go for the largest size possible. The wheels are 19'' x 8'' front and 19'' x 9'' rear. The dealer told me that I shouldn't have any issues with putting a 245 series on the front and 275 on the rear. So my first question is are these series tires ok for the width of the wheel? Second, I have to pick out the tires. I've spent time today looking at 3 different brands of tires and reading reviews on them.
Here is what I've come up with so far:
Goodyear Eagle F1 GS-D3 245/ 35/ 19 fr x 275/ 35/ 19

Michelin Pilot Sport PS2 same size as ^

Bridgestone Potenza S-03 Pole Position same size as ^

These are all max summer performance tires. I'd like 40 series but I can't seem to find ay 40s in the widths that I want in a 19'' wheel. I just wanted to 40s for a little more side wall but it's no big deal.

Pls if you have any suggestions about other tires let me know. I tried the tire forum and got no help. So, I'm trying here. thx

yea those tire sizes are correct. i have the potenza so3's at first i loved them when comparing them to the nitto 555's that i had. since then i have bent 2 wheels from a combination of the soft sidewalls, incorrect suspension installation, and a couple a potholes. i have also heard the the so3's are a heavy tire. so, you may want to look into the toyo t1s' instead. iv'e heard only good things about them.

so3's are fine in the rain, the s02's were the ones with wet traction problems. still overall the t1s are a better tire. BTW tire prices are gonna go up across the board soon due to incerased material costs so u should get them soon. i heard the price increase is supposed to be effective jan 1st.
