anyone installed a aftermarket underhood/splash guard?

i need a new one and the dealer is taxing so i found one online and just wanted to know if they are a perfect fit or dose it require in cutting/trimming

I have the Zspeed and it's great. Fits perfectly and they do a much better job than stock of protecting the engine bay. I hit a tire piece on the hwy going 60 and bent my first Zspeed back 180*. I shudder to think what it might have done if the plastic one was on there. Here's a before and after shot, I am on my 2nd because of this.

I like it but id destroy it in less than a week with all the ****ed up roads here.

hmm, never thought of replacing that piece before until now, mine is a little bent out of shape, aluminum though?

If you're interested in getting another guard consider the aluminum/polished JDM unit, stronger and looks way better than plastic....Gary

The Zspeed is a great choice, have had it on for over a year and it is great, especially when changing the oil!

This guy use to be a member here, his product is quite excellent, and priced reasonably.
Fitment is right on a spot as well.

Can't wait to get one.. My OEM one is ziptied on now.. Lol I think I'm gonna go with the one from tollboothwilly.. He said it sits up higher than OEM..

Personally I think I'm going with the Z-Speed due to it mounting up higher to avoid scraping.
