Going to the Stealership...thoughts
Hey guys, I'd like to get some thoughts on what I can get this car for from a small dealer.
It's an '05 auto COUPE, black, 18" alloy rims, navi, spoiler, Bose, leather and with ~56,000mi. It has a clean title and a one owner carfax, while the driver seat leather is beat up a bit, but nothing too bad. Would say it's in good condition, although I would get a PPI done before a final deal with a trusted mechanic I know.
Other details
-I will be looking to put 10-11k down and finance the rest through the dealship, with a 2 year note agreement. (I have very good credit)
-My location is in the Northeast
-Edmunds values the car at ~14k from a dealer, while kbb values this car at ~18.5k.
-Dealer is offering a 1yr warranty with purchase, although 3rd party warranties can sometimes be worth crap.
-I'm looking for an 'Out the Door' number that includes everything
Based on experiences, what do you guys think I can get the dealer to offer? (I'm purposely leaving out the asking price to keep things unbiased). I'm quite adept at negotiating, and I have a number in my head at my 'final offer' and would like to see if it matches up with some estimates here. Thanks!
