if you have the sports package, your steering wheel will have orange stitching, you will have aluminum pedals, your front bumper will have a built-in "lip", not to mention the stiff-*** ride =p.

This is an ancient thread but I'm gonna try & get some answers anyway because I'm confused as hell. I just bought a 2006 6MT coupe, which does have the sport package as indicated by the VIN (and the orange stitching on the steering wheel), yet it does not have the "sport" lip on the front bumper, and as much as I squint, I cannot decisively confirm whether or not the sideskirts on it are the same as other "sport" models I've looked up. That in particular is really hard for me to tell- plus it's black making it all the more "androgenous". Even more confusing is what I've heard about the "Aero" package- which someone explained is separate from the Sport setup, in that it includes different bumper, sideskirts and that hideous rear wing I'm so glad mine doesn't have... Sooo, is mine in fact a 6MT G35 Sport WITHOUT the Aero package, explaining the absence of the cooler front bumper, possibly different sideskirts and the ironing board for the trunk lid?
Also, before you ask, yes the 1988 Civic in the background is fully equipped with cassette player, interior-matched blue window cranks and the luxury package: cloth seats, a dome light and actual carpet! No power steering.
