rear license plate screw hole section broke off

plain and simple i guess. wondering if there's an easy fix or anything. thanks.

Gonna have to get clever and figure something out.. is try and use one of those clips like on the other side somehow..

i have it all jury rigged right now with some large velcro pads since the least it can do is fall over and let the right side catch it. it's worked so far for a couple days until i can figure something better out i guess.

Maybe some 3M double-sided mounting tape will do the trick.

that could probably work. i'll just load it up with as much adhesive materials as i can strap on it and make it work.

it wouldn't be so bad if i had the piece that broke off -__-

Locate another piece of plastic, drill the hole needed and Super Glue it over where the piece broke off. That should hold without having to use ties and other mickey mouse fixes....Gary

Mine did the same thing. The quick fix I came up with was to turn the metal sleeve 90 degrees( perpendicular) and then insert the screw that way. That was able to work for me for several months until I got my rear bumper fixed and that corrected also. GL
