This is for a 4WD models. so V35 sedans.
As the schematics show, the hub and bearing are seperate.
The part number for the bearing is 40210-AL800
the hub part number is 40202-24U00

Hope this helps in anyway.

Example of a bearing sold separately: http://www.ebay.com/itm/40210-2Y000-...#ht_500wt_1362

And the hub by itself so there are no questions here: http://www.ebay.com/itm/40202-24U00-...#ht_500wt_1362
Hub you showing is for AWD vehicle, and bearing does not have tabs for bolt holes. Coupe hubs do not have a hole in the middle, I don't see the difference between the AWD bearing and a front bearing for RWD cars. Just because hub does not have a hole through it, bearing is still the same and it is still pressed on to a hub. For some reason nobody is selling front bearing by it self for coupes, although it seems to be exactly same as the one for AWD sedans.

Isn't bearing just pressed in onto a hub and sold as one unit even tho it's two.

well I might be wrong.

Based on this picture it seems that front bearing is permanently pressed in on to the hub and cannot be replaced by it self. Pay attention to a groove on top. That's a groove on a hub and it looks like it's there to prevent bearing from sliding off from the hub. This is not necessary on a rear bearing because there is a half shaft that's going through the entire hub assy and it secures by a nut on the stud side of the hub as a result holding hub onto a bearing preventing it from possibly sliding off. In a RWD option, since there is no shaft to go though the hub, bearing must be permanently secured on a hub.

Maybe not, hard to tell base on a picture and without looking at the actual part.

The fact still remains that nobody selling just a bearing it self for a RWD coupes and sedans.

it would have been pressed together during manufacturing. but it may be set up to not be removed afterwards. I'll get some pics up from the item directly shortly.

OK from what I can tell the parts used to be offered separately for a non-X vehicle. Here's an example of that: https://g35driver.com/forums/2575422-post1.html

However it seems now that the front assembly is only offered as one piece while the rear bearing and hub can still be purchased separately as confirmed by Phil@Grubbs here: https://g35driver.com/forums/6279826-post41.html

I guess we are all right.

First link is a rear bearing

Second link Phill tells you that only AWD vehicles have an option to replace just a bearing on the front, but not RWD vehicles.

So looks like even back in the day it was a same story. RWD coupes and sedans have to replace front bearing and hub all together, bearing is not sold separately and cannot be removed from the hub to be replaced.

I did mine myself I went with replacing the whole hub I found a place online where I bought the whole assmebly for about $110 a pair I hope they still sell them that cheap. So basically I saved money regardless. If I remember the site I'll let you know....

In a few weeks Im going to replace my bad bearing. After i remove the old hub im going to see if i can find a part number on the bad bearing and cross reference it with bearing suppliers to see if anything comes up. After that Ill see if a machine shop can take apart the hub and remove the old bearing. If a replacement bearing is available from a supplier then Ill order one and see if it can be pressed in and the hub reassembled and report back to u guys.

Or if anybody has a hub laying around already take a look to see if u can find a pn on the bearing and post it up here.
