Scratched My G35 This Morning...Need Advice...(Pic Included)

Should I just try to fix this myself by buffing and adding touch up paint? I don't think this job warrants a visit to an autobody shop, lord knows what they would try to quote

I don't know if that's something you can just use touch up paint and a buffer on.

The whole side or do you think my first suggestion would suffice?

Find a good body shop that does great work for dirt cheap.

Definitely repaint. No buffer will take care of that unfortunately

It would cost probably $225 for a body shop around here to do that

Before you go out and spend major $$ at a body shop why not try to buff it out and order touch up paint from Dr. Colorchip? If it doesn't blend in all is not lost, you can still use the touch up for hood/bumper chips....Gary

Yes, this was my initial line of thinking. I mean, this is definitely not the type of scratch I want to be paying major $$ for. Also, the pics may be a little deceiving because I zoomed in so far. The scratch isn't that big. I'm going to buff it and just apply the touch up paint. I was really just trying to see if anyone had done this before.
