I dont know if this has been posted before, but i didn't find anything on it so here goes.... I noticed about a month ago that whenever i step on the gas i hear a slight squeaking sound coming from the rear of my car. Its really hard to pin point exactly what it is, but the sound isn't really that noticeable, and it only last for about half a second. Friends and family dont really notice it when they are riding with me, so its not too bad but it annoys the crap out of me because i like to think of my car as being perfect and nothing is wrong with it. And since im still in warranty, i just want to bring my car to the dealership to have them look at it, although im afraid they wouldn't be able to do anything because it seems hard to actually find out what exactly is causing that squeaking sound, because its not too loud and it occurs in a split of a second while u step on the gas. It seems to come from the back of the driver's side of the car. And i can hear it whenever i roll down the windows and step on the gas whether its from a full stop or while my car is already moving and i just want to accelerate a little faster. You dont have to go full throttle to hear it , just a light tap on the pedal. Does anybody have the same problem as me?? Or know what is wrong with my car??

 

Finally a question I may be able to answer (only had the car for a week) I heard a squeeking noise coming from the back of mine and realized my back seat was not pushed back all the way. It should snap into place. Hope this helps.

mine had a squickign noise i took it to the dealer, they knew exactly what i was talkign about they automaticly said its ur rear axle wive had severel Gs come in with the same problem. if everytime you hit the gas and pull out of a driveway or over a bump and you hear it take it to the dealer.

 

squeaking in the back of your coupe... this doesn't involve a drive-in movie does it? Sorry couldn't pass that up, the title made me look (and laugh.)
