Today I put on my nineteen inch wheels and had some difficulty getting the front wheels on. I then realized that that stupid bolt was there and removed it with such ease that it kind of concerned me. Anyone have a clue as to what that bolt WAS there for? Is my coupe gonna fall apart now? LOL Any info is appreciated. Thanks.

 

No your G won't fall apart! :-)

Its just there to keep people from rotating the tires front to back. You need to remove it to install any aftermarket rims.

 

AHA!! Good, I figured it was something relatively trivial but I wanted to make sure. Thanks for the input. Drive fast and kick ***.

 

When I took my car to discount tire, they confirmed that it wouldn't hurt to take that off to install aftermarket rims.

Ordered 4/03: 2003 G35C, 6MT, Blk/Blk. Loaded ETA ~ 7/03

 

The rims aren't on yet. Since i'm getting 20mm spacers i'm waiting on some nismo extended wheel bolts, that way there will be enough thread for the lug nuts.
