Doesn't it make you sick to your stomach when you think "Damn, I could have had that $40,000 right now". I know that's how I always feel, even though I've spent a little less than half of what you did. And this summer is going to be another $3000 or so.

Meh, I regret it a little sometimes, but I love how my car has come out and enjoy driving it everyday. It's not like I poured all my life's savings into either, lol. I do try not to think about though . And I'm not even done modding yet .

I spent a something around 200 hrs plus? Reconditioning my car. I bought it very rough and wanted to make it factory fresh. Around 3k in OEM/replacement parts. These are great cars off the boat, IMO. ... Stereo could use some work though. May be my only mod beside white line bushings I did.

haha so true!
i was hesitant about letting go the $100 for a shift **** at first... since then I havent looked back lol. Im always looking for new parts and different styles just to keep things up.
so far out of pocket iv spent about $6500

iv been luck though, had 2 Gs over the last 14 months both came with a few nice mods already.

I spend always a few hours a week working on something with a VQ in it

and as for the love... I cant really think of a car that i would rather have for the $$
