Radiator core removal?

Radiator core removal?

today i removed my radiator core support ever since my accident, i have a few questions on some specific parts that im not sure if ill need to buy or not?

this part right here broke in half with the impact its attached to the radiator do i need to buy this or does it come with a new radiator that i buy?

as i was taking off my radiator core support i also noticed this

i took it off but whatever it was attached too stood on the core didnt know how to take it off im pretty sure the new core i order wont have this so should i take it off?

and also im planning to remove the radiator next since its broken and leaken any advice or diy guides on it, and do i need any specific devices i heard something about frusion im not sure ...can anybody help me? dont want to do something im not suppose too...

The part that's attached to the radiator condenser won't come with your new one. You need to buy one..

The sensor your pointing to in the second picture is the impact sensor. If it doesn't show any damage you don't need to replace it.

will the airbags go off if he unplugs the impact sensor?

As long as the battery connection is off it shouldn't go off. But to be sure he can disconnect the airbag computer which is located under the center console.

yikes i took off the yellow plug (impact sensor) off since i removed the radiator core, my battery is disconnected though and my car been sitting in my garage for quite a well dead off course since the battery is disconnected should i worry about the airbags?

They're not going to blow. Just make sure if you connect the battery that you don't have any ripped wires on the plug for the airbag sensor so they don't have contact with anything. But overall you should be fine so don't worry.

ok after installing it will i have to recharge my a/c system? i dont have the equipment for that but is it ok if i still install the new switch n just take it to a shop that can do that. just gotta make sure my a/c is off right?

i didnt take off the radiator yet can you explain that part i dont know how to start when removing the radiator, i want to make sure i do everything right : /

Are you removing the water radiator or the condenser radiator(The one with the broken sensor)?

If only the condenser radiator make sure you release the refrigerant but be careful with that cause that is under high pressure and make sure you don't inhale it lol. But it's pretty simple to remove..

my radiator thats attached to the upper radiator hose is the one thats broken...do i also have to change the condenser radiator as well? aw man i hope not...

ok i just attempted to take out my a/c condesener plug like on the above picture since its broken and a hissing sound came out....i plugged right back in is this normal?

You need to evacuate your A/C system (at a shop).

ok i ordered the plug either way but your advice is to just switch it when it comes in then go to a shop and evacuate my A/c system? im planning on doing everything myself except the evacuating stuff since i dont have the equipment...i just ordered my new radiator as well and the core support as well .....

when you take the plug out, its going to be leaking out freon, you wont need to evacuate the system cause it will be empty anyway. just take it to a shop to recharge your ac system after you replace the plug.
