im getting a bad metal on metal / screeching noise coming from my rear it stops and comes back . any ideas what it could be ?? its pretty annoying some one told me it could be brake pad indicaters but would it stop and go ?? it does it in reverse and in drive goes and comes!!!

YES check your pads and dont forget your parking brake shoes as well. More then likely it is pads.

Have the pads looked at as soon as you can. Metal on metal isn't good. Sounds like the worn pads are likely gouging and eating away at your rotors. Depending on the remaining thickness of your rotors, you might be able to have them machined if you act quickly. The more damage they incur the less likely you'll be able to salvage them.

My guess is that you have either worn pads or that your caliper(s) are seized.

 

I smell New Rotors are going to be needed lol.
