It IS steep, but I like they've got gas shocks on them. I've never liked using a rod to hold my hood up.

Maybe when all else is done, I'll look into.

$390 is still cheaper than new hood/fender/and or paint.

I was at the dealer getting some parts and asked about the hinges since mine just had a hard time opening. The parts guy said it was common and that each hinge replacement was about $50 each or $100 for both sides.
