Yesterday I lost my G35 Key with no spare.... I only had one since i bought it... I meant to make an extra copy but didn;t have the time.
This is what I get for not driving my G yesterday... I decided to take the Camry to LA instead.... Karma???
I had the key on my pocket while going all over LA....I got home around 8pm
and I couldn;t find it... I thought I had left it in the Camry, but i was wrong... the key is not in my house... not at my in laws... I had in "my pocket" to my belief.... My wife suggested I might have dropped it in the trunk of the G since i openned it before leaving to get my Backpack... So i'm calling AAA to open my car and hope it;s there....

If it's not in there what do i do??? First time this happens in my life.....

 

Stealership can probably program you a new key.

 

I called the Stealership and they want $350 for a new key with keyless entry... how's that???

I told them what i've read about Providing them with a Vin # and proof of ownership and he said they would make me a key but i wouldn;t start the car.... I this true or do they just want me to take the car in....

 

I'm not so sure about G35 keys(Just bought the car) but when I had my RSX, there was a chip programed inside the key in order to turn on the car. They may want your car to program the chip to correspond with the car's electronics
