Full Hood Bra
Fellas,
Just had my baby done with a full hood bra - like the installer said "full metal jacket" I finally feel protected when driving down the highway. Edre at envisage in torrance, CA did a fantastic job. Hope to post some pics up soon, but its so invisible I am not sure if it will show. This other guy who was having his 03 M3 done couldn't keep his eyes off my car. His car looked hot too, it was fully loaded.

Re: Full Hood Bra
the 3M material can be waxed, it is also covered by some insurance companies if you were in an accident. The cost of repainting your hood, bumper, fenders due to nicks would probably be around 3 k - but depends on the job and the body shop. its your decision to decide what's best for your car.

Re: Full Hood Bra
I'm checking the dealer for prices but expect it to be quite a markup from going straight to a detail shop. Seattle area is running around $750 for a custom job but would have to do some more talking to get a full hood done. $800 with dealer backing/leverage might not be too bad. The $750 gets you alot more done than just the front front and hood; door edges, head lights, mirrors, wheel well lips, behind the splash guard area and the top between the windshield and sunroof. Pretty much everything except door ding protection. To me, it's pricey but anything that keeps me away from touch up paint during ownership would be worth it. ...dean
