In December I ordered a 6mt Coupe with an expected delivery early March. Today I found out that my car will not be getting here until May or June. The dealer told me that they are a small dealer and there allotment was 1 or 2 6mt's per month.

Has anyone heard any issues with availability of the 6mt's nationwide? has the number of cars being built been cut or something? or is it just an Oregon thing?

I'm currently in contact with Grubbs, hopefully they can come through sooner. Also if anybody runs across a '05 Laser Red w/Graphite 6mt coupe with Premium, full aero, please let me know.

sounds like my car! (my LR 6MT order went in Oct 6th, its due here in 2 weeks)

i believe the availability is just starting to open up. it sounds like your dealer isn't entitled to get any 6MT's anytime soon. There are already 6MTs in inventory on infiniti.com (TX and SoCal only so far) and the ships are usually clustered, so more will be coming in over the next few weeks.

otherwise, i've heard nothing about limited availability at all. orders should only take the standard 3 months or less.

 

There are some 2005 6MT's in Nor Cal already too. Been this way for about a week now.
