I am looking to buy this 03 coupe 6mt with 95 miles on it. When I test drove there are some strange sounds coming from the transmission. The gear stick also vibrates a lot in the lower gears.
The sound is like tuk-tuk-tuk. The seller saying that’s because of the new fly wheel he installed.
Anyone seen this issue? I read some forums about grinding transmissions but not sure if this is the same issue.
I would appreciate if you have any advice/suggestions.
Thank you.

How does it shift ? Any difficulty getting into and out of gear ? Notice any slippage ? Aftermarket clutch and flywheels are known for being loud and making a chatter sound .

Vibration and noise coming from the trans when it shifts correctly indicates a worn out throw out bearing. Eventually if not replaced won't allow you to get in gear....Gary
