So you'd rather put unnecessary stress on your $4000 transmission rather than using your $400 brakes to slow down?! Might want to rethink that habit.

On the other hand, the TransGo is worth the money even if you only have bolt ons. I have installed 3 so far (Silencer that posted above is one of those installs) and they have all been ecstatic with the performance it provides. On Silencers test drive I chirped his tires going into 3rd gear with only bolt on supporting mods (before he got a vortech)

If you're in SoCal and need a TransGo installed, shoot me a PM, I can beat any prices of the shops around

I'm another NA sedan in 5AT with the Transgo kit. I put it in with the help of a friend. Little over 1.5 hours of work. It does really wake the car up. The 1-2 shift still slightly hesitates, but that's a good thing. If it didn't you'd never get any traction. But the 2-3 and the 3-4 are real firm shifts. Under wide open throttle, the tires can break loose through the first 2 or 3 shifts. It helps even more if you get a 3.5 LSD rear center section. It runs like a raped ape now!

I had the transgo install and unfortunatley idk if it was the installer who messed it up but i ended up breaking my planatary gears and had to get a new tranny, (not cool had a whole dilema with that to) having the kit installed and messing up my tranny ended up costing me thousands. Like i said though it probably was my installer because i havent heard of any other horror stories. i would say though that it happened to me when i was reversing out of a parking spot and some woman driver was speeding in the parking lot about to hit me so i quickly put in in drive and went back into the spot. I heard a wierd metal clunk noise and ended up having no gears by the end of the week. I did like the quick shifts when i did have it for like 3 months but it is not that fast to take a risk like that again for me. But i also have bad luck so you should be fine :/

Wish we had you in the northeast. I would get the transgo in a heartbeat but I don't trust any shops around here to do the work.

So does anyone know if a transgo shift kit is good for my 05 G35x sedan 5AT? I know people have said it might be different since its a X sedan?

So does he notice the difference and what not? Is it different installation compared to a RWD infinitis?

Yeah he noticed the difference; he's actually the one who introduced me to the Transgo.
Look at the link here, it says that it works on G35x, install instructions are the exact same for either rwd or awd.
