80% off, 20% on and always on in inclement weather.

This. When the road is dry and I have me and one passenger it's always off, which is most of the time. You do have to be one with the car and understand what it can and cannot do or else you'll be in big trouble.

I don't understand turning it off "out of habit". During normal driving is your car constantly kicking the "SLIP" light and cutting the throttle? Might need to adjust driving habits if that's the case, or replace bald tires, just saying.

That said, VDC is turned off during Autocross, when I know I'm about to launch hard and chirp 2nd & 3rd gears, on during spirited driving on familiar curvy back roads where I know the VDC will be more annoying than a help. Otherwise I just leave it on, it probably helped a few times on unfamiliar roads and unexpected slick spots.

Depends what mood I am in...
If i am feeling like a 16 year old who just got his license the day before and I found the keys to my daddys vette, Then off.

if I am driving in any type of rain, snow, sleep (Read. Less then perfect weather) On.

Problem is now... With my single turbo, I spin out 1-2-3 hahah MUAHAHAHA

16 year old for life haha.

The way I see it is if there is a quick reaction that comes across you like someone cuts you off or debris on the road, if you have vdc on and you end up chirping your tires to avoid an accident you'll lose power and might end up hitting something or someone. Yes, of course in dry weather. That is why I keep mine off most of the time and my rear tires are warn out as well lol

i turn mine off. its designed for the amateur driver. i only use it in heavy rain or snow. i cant afford to have my traction control turn on when i have to quickly control my car and lose traction in time of serious driving maneuvers.i can control and manipulate my own traction i dont need a sensor and cpu to help me if i have to slide and drift out of a corner or to avoid an accident i have to be able to lose traction slide out and regain traction on my own time and response. vdc takes away control of my response and timing of wheel spin and throttle response. i cant have tht happen i need to be in complete control. thts my thought and opinion based on my years of drifting and canyon runs.ive had 4 240s before i got my G, ive been drifting since i was 17, and i can say one thing these Gs arent made for drifting i dont recommend it. the rear and tear is too much and these cars arent cheap. but anyways i make sure my VDC is off..

I leave it on most of the time just because it's so out of the way that you forget about it. I do turn it off if it's not raining and I'm going to be doing a little more spirited driving.
