And yes, for whatever reason, the light harness was a HUGE pain to unclip.
What exactly do you have to do to get them up to CDN spec?
I thought they were just plug and play.

You're lucky, when I replaced mine I told my wife I was installing new bulbs. She'd never understand the expense of projectors but it is one of the best upgrades for first gen G35s....Gary[/QUOTE]

I dont even bother telling the GF anything when i do something to the ride. She never notices and i dont have the hear the $$$ lectures... She did notice the wheels though lol but i guess that was a dead giveaway

Say that to her next time she gets a new haircut or a new dress and asks you for your opinion of it.

They do look nice on your car. This mod used to be pretty high on my list a couple of weeks ago mainly because when I bought my car the headlights looked like crap. I have since cleaned, sanded and polished them and they look ok for now. $500 is a pretty big hit for headlights, so I've put this mod on hold for now.
But yeah, I don't tell my wife exactly what I'm doing to the car. When I'm heading to the garage and she asks where I'm going I just say "I'm going to the garage to work on the car" and that's it! She's used to it by now. A lot of times when I get a parts I just take them to the garage so she doesn't see them.

Yea 500 for headlights is outrageous in my book, but in person, they made a huge difference! I wish I would have taken a side by side photo of the old vs. new, because I really didn't think my old lights were that bad either until they were setting next to a new pair. At night....JESUS! There is a huge difference from the old lights!

Also I didn't want a sketchy set of aftermarket lights either, you get what you pay for..
