so i ran into a small problem today, i used my dads car battery to see if my car turns on cause my brille battery is dead. n it turns on perfectly radio works and everything, only thing is my dashboard doesnt light up unless the car is on and the radio control buttons do not light up either even with the headlights on, tailight dont light up either unless i hold the brake...any suggestions ?? : (

my car is disconnected since my friend took it to get it charged its flat out dead but i have warranty if anything...i have question about coolant i poured oem coolant about 1 gallon into the car and about 4 quarts of water, my coolant resevoir is empty, my friend told me to buy another gallon n just put it in the car until its filled up and some on the tank? is this info right?

Just make sure you don't let the reservoir empty since that will suck air into the system.
If your in an environment with harsh winters then i would just add more plain coolant for a higher coolant:water ratio.

Your at 50-50 right now, you could buy another gallon and mix it and top the reservoir or you could just add more distilled water. Its a peace of mind thing, i doubt that if you just top it off with distilled water it will make a difference since the reservoir holds less than a quart.
Just make sure you don't let the reservoir empty since that will suck air into the system.
