these are mdu coilovers sold by top speed. they cost me 560 shipped. i ordered from my350z.com forum.

so i ran into a small problem today, i used my dads car battery to see if my car turns on cause my brille battery is dead. n it turns on perfectly radio works and everything, only thing is my dashboard doesnt light up unless the car is on and the radio control buttons do not light up either even with the headlights on, tailight dont light up either unless i hold the brake...any suggestions ?? : (

You might have done this already but fuses? especially the ones behind the battery. I had a similar problem once, it was a 10 amp fuse in there somewhere.

Hold the positive and neg terminals off the battery together for thirty or so sec till you reset the ECU then hook it all up and double check that your dashboard dimmer didnt get moved

ill try this as well , hopefully my dad will let me borrow his car again.

I would advice against holding the terminals together or creating a short of any kind. It just doesn't sit well with me but its upto you.

A normaI battery disconnect is enough to reset the ipdm, just removing the negative terminal should be enough to perform any battery related resets. I have never seen anyone put the negative and positive terminals together for any purposes.

my car is disconnected since my friend took it to get it charged its flat out dead but i have warranty if anything...i have question about coolant i poured oem coolant about 1 gallon into the car and about 4 quarts of water, my coolant resevoir is empty, my friend told me to buy another gallon n just put it in the car until its filled up and some on the tank? is this info right?

Your at 50-50 right now, you could buy another gallon and mix it and top the reservoir or you could just add more distilled water. Its a peace of mind thing, i doubt that if you just top it off with distilled water it will make a difference since the reservoir holds less than a quart.

Just make sure you don't let the reservoir empty since that will suck air into the system.

If your in an environment with harsh winters then i would just add more plain coolant for a higher coolant:water ratio.

thanks ill buy another gallon its only 18 bucks for oem coolant at my dealership. i live in ny and right now the weather is hot and summer is coming but the winters are pretty cold too its 50/50 up concerning weather.
