Anyone know the part number for a harness that will fit the interior rearview mirror. I got one off of ebay and am trying to figure away to install this unit.
Thanks,

As long as it's a harnes for a Gentex mirror, you should be good to go. When I bought my Gentex mirror for my other car, I saw that all the Gentex mirrors come with the same wiring harness. So for example, even though I got a standard homelink autodimming mirror (GENK40), it came with the wiring harness that included temperature probe and stuff.Originally Posted by Henryp

You got the whole mirror on eBay? Or just the harness? How much did you get it for? Just curious. I bought the GENK40 Gentex Autodimming Homelink mirror, (which is the exact mirror that my G35 came with). It was $219 shipped to my house via FedEx.
If it's not a Gentex mirror, but it came with a wiring harness, it's only 5 minutes work. I installed the Gentex mirror in my other car, which had a factory Donnely Autodimming mirror (which broke). That thing's harness looked like a phone jack. So I just cut off the factory harness, and spliced in the Gentex harness. (I also had to run another power line from the fusebox, to power the homelink)
I got the mirror for $59 on ebay. It came off another G35. Do you think I can get just the harness from Gentek?
My sollution.
I got the mirror working and wanted to post my solution. I purchased a wiring harness from a 350Z. When I received the part there were more connectors than I needed, so I cut the harness where the other connections were spiced in. I bought some wire from Autozone and crimped them at the ends of the cut harness. I ran the wire through the headliner and through the A pillar down to the fuse box. From there I used T taps to connect the two power wires from the mirror. I spiced into the Red/White and Green/Yellow of the vehicles wiring harness. I connected the ground wire to a bolt that was easily accessible. Everything works great. Hope this can help anyone who want to add the auto dim mirror with homelink.
