For me, the key fob has to be in a certain proximity for it to work. Works the same way as the keyless entry feature on the doors.

Your car wasn't downgraded, it's actually an '05 with the sport package. the '06 has different taillights, spoiler, sideskirts as well as front bumper and headlights (not seen in pic).

Better check your stuff man...

^ You probably mean aero package. And it only works if BOTH doors are unlocked, kinda the same as the gas lid if I remember correctly.

I want a pair of wheels like yours real bad. I just put brand new michelens a/s plus's on my 17s. I have the 07 auto fully decked out. Your car is deff a 06 with 05 tails. The new tails are way better looking and more convenient. Plus there LEDs. And have more shaper looking reverse lights. It's worth the upgrade if you like lights.

I have an 05 and love the tail lights on my car, so I don't see a need to change them to 06 lights. I don't need a button on my tail lights either.
I'm with this guy...

I bet the previous owner had custom 06 tails and swapped them + cash for 03-05 before selling the G.
