de badge or not to de badge?
Going JDM....
....still leaves you with a cluttered trunklid! I started by removing the Infiniti letters which looked better, than a few weeks later the G35 was removed. I ran with the Mt Fuji emblem for a long time until I decided to go with the total clean look then it was gone too. Took a few minutes with a high speed buffer to get rid of the shadows but clean is the way to go....Gary
I don't get what people's problems are. It's not like people make fun of other peoples' crappy generic-looking black rims with chrome lips. If you didn't pay for the car then all you have to say is an opinion, far from a fact. If someone likes somethig or can respect that their Nissan sports car isn't some rebadged entry-level "luxury car" then let them do it. Regardless, I'm not gonna get into the whole JDM vs. USDM OEM BS on here. But to the OP, do YOU think it looks good de-badged? If YOU like it then go for it, don't let someone else influence your taste when it comes to your car. If you like a clean shaved look (which I have nothing against and almost did myself) then do it, despite how many emblems you take off.

If you aren't the first owner of your car ask the previous recoated if he had a new clear coat put on. I debadged and I'm going to have to get my trunk recoated because there's 2 seperate layers.
FYI, you posted in the coupe section. Those items should work fine, although I personally never used WD-40 on the paint. Not sure about the holes
Debadged my 04 BS coupe yesterday with hairdryer, floss, and goo gone theres a bit of a shadow but you only see it if your inches from the trunk and i left the mt fuji emblem on. Loving the clean look
For future "Debadgers" dental floss will work but fishing line works great and won't break. Also, if you have shadows a few minutes with cleaner and high speed buffer will make them disappear forever....

I've debadged many cars in the past and this is the first one that actually would not clean up perfectly. I was left with faint raised shadowing noticeable from side angles only.
I ended up paying a body shop $20 to gently wetsand and buff the rear facing surface of my trunk lid.
