look at the "rear end shot" or "sexiest *** on a g" thread for pics. a very large majority of the community debadges their car - and the majority of that group take off the g35 and Infiniti, and leave the mt Fuji.

I would at least take off the G35. Makes the rear end look symmetrical

It won't look cheesy at all. It will be more symmetrical looking and clean. Do it, you won't be disappointed.

If my sedan didn't have holes behind the mt fuji I would have debadged everything.

I had the same sentiment so I added another set of g35 badges mounted backwards like a mirror. Looks super dope

Ive considered doing this as well as I think they look so clean debadged but with mine being an 03, I worry about the difference in paint from behind the emblems compared to the rest of the trunk lid. Has anyone run across this or is there a way to make it blend?

Go JDM

^- My car. But really, it's personal preference. Either you like it de-badged or you don't. If you think it looks good then go for it; you shouldn't let other peoples' opinions steer you one way or the other. Many people hate the Skyline badging but I like it because I respect the car for what I see it as and don't care what people think. You should consider this when you decide.

And to jtierney78, the "ghost" left behind from the emblems might or might not be there depending on the condition of your car and most importantly your color.

Going JDM........still leaves you with a cluttered trunklid! I started by removing the Infiniti letters which looked better, than a few weeks later the G35 was removed. I ran with the Mt Fuji emblem for a long time until I decided to go with the total clean look then it was gone too. Took a few minutes with a high speed buffer to get rid of the shadows but clean is the way to go....Gary

I had this problem on my 06 and when I debadged everything, but 10 mins with some mild rubbing compound on a buffer and it took care of that problem.
