How to remove 03-07 lisence plate frame light bulbs

How do you remove the lisence plate frame lights bulbs in the back. My right one was out then as soon as I smacked it, it came back on. I just want to put some light blue LED light bulbs back there. How hard is this?

I removed my license plate then took a small screwdriver to pop out the inside corner, then remove. I suggest you stick with white LEDs which have a very slight blue tint, going with blue will only get your a violation....they're illegal.

I laid down on my back and popped the clips with my fingers after removing the frame... I wouldn't put BLUE LED's, that is just asking for trouble.

Bright white looks really nice.

All go with *white* LEDs you both are right. So you just lay down on your back and pop out those 2 plastic clear frames ? How did you wiggle it to pop them out? They seem fragile....

I think there's a tiny clip holding them. Just pinch the ends or something and it should pop out.

You'll be fine if you take your time. I attacked them like a spider monkey so that's why I broke one of them lol.
