Sudden deceleration when gas pedal is released
@AMoore52 Nicoclub graciously hosts the FSM's and lets everyone access them for free (Nico pays a hefty fee to host them). However this is entirely at the mercy of Nissan North America and NNA has made them take the FSM's down for months on end in the past so I HIGHLY RECOMMEND you download each of the sections for your exact vehicle and save them on your PC or phone. The document starts at FWD - Forward, it's basically the table of contents for the FSM. Some years also have IDX - Index which is an alphabetized keyword index, if your year doesn't include IDX just take the one from the 2006 FSM and save it with your other files.

Ironically, that's the site I found last night to download what I needed. So far I just grabbed the "EC" section.
I haven't been able to try the relearn procedures, but I have the three sections I need printed and highlighted just waiting for the 5 minutes (when the car is warm) to take care of it.
I'm hoping this works!

Hey guys,
Tried searching first. Wasn't sure how to explain what I wanted to search for. Basiclally I have an 04' coupe with a few new mods. Going from completely bone stock, I just had a 5/16 motordyne plenum spacer, z-tube, oem rev-up air box installed. Everything else is stock. After the install, I could feel and hear the difference in a positive way. The only negative is that when driving if I let off on the gas it kinda coasts for a second or 2 and then does a rapid deceleration.Nox Vidmate VLC It doesnt cut off completely or anything but, Its pretty noticeable. It jerks just enough to feel like I'm braking a bit. Nothing major, but enough to be annoying. I did several ecu resets and throttle body resets. Got the blinking SES light to work though on both resets. Not sure if the ecu reset or not. The throttle body reset definately seemed to work because my rpm dropped in idle from 900 to 600-700. The only thing is that after that I turned my engine off and it went back to 900 again. Was it suppose to stay at 600-700? Do these resets take time to adjust? Is it normal for it to be driving like this after my intake mods? Is there some other issue I'm not aware of?
Thanks for the help.
