Possible modded g35 purchase

Hey guys, so I'm in the market for a used G35 and I found the one linked below on AutoTrader. I wasn't even considering buying one with any mods, but these aren't too extreme and there are none on the engine itself (which I wouldn't do). He says they're Eibach springs that he put on when he bought it new. any thoughts? Is buying a modded G35 a bad idea?

Any insight would be appreciated, thanks!

Dan

It's not a bad idea so long as the mods are tasteful in your opinion. The car looks good. He also has an emblemless grill. Just make sure it checks out on carfax and carchecks.

Yea, I think it looks good, not TOO modded (you know the type). I definitely plan on getting Carfax, Lending Tree does an inspection plus I'll bring it to a mechanic to get pressure tested and all that good stuff.

as long as the car isnt running a turbo kit or supercharger, you will be fine purchasing a modded g35

Pretty clean car. Just ditch the gold painted calipers lol. Looks like a great buy though. Look out for oil consumption! They plague 05-07 manuals, I.e. Rev-Ups.

Besides suspension everything else is just cosmetic. Looks decent... If it checks out clean i dont see any problems occurring from the mods

Yeah, I know I've been waiting waiting for the VIN so I can get it checked out. Yeah, I've heard about the oil consumption issues with those years. That's alright, I'm used to it on my A4, that things been consuming oil for a few years now.

luisp88, what do you mean about the drivers seat fitment? Thanks.

Have the car checked out by a reputable mechanic, but it looks clean, has low miles and tasteful mods, and seems to be priced fairly. If I was in the market for a coupe I'd be all over that car.

That's not modded in my opinion. I wouldn't worry about it whatsover. You may need a camber kit for atleast the rear wheels if doesn't already have one....but that's not a big deal.
