Hi G35 Guys,

I'm a 350z owner from zcarmotoring.comville, but I was hoping some of you more knowledgeable guys could help me out.

I recently bought a Momentum Performance Header-Back Dual Exhaust from another forum member and he failed to include a required Tunnel Hanger and Rubber Hanger for the y-pipe section of it (supposed to be used near y-pipe to mid-pipe flange).

If you notice in the picture of the instruction manual below it says "*350z only" for the two steps that mention installing the tunnel and rubber hanger. Do G35's have a hanger there already? What is the reason for this?

Yes, our G35's already have that hanger.

 

Think it would be as easy as buying a G35 metal and rubber hanger and using it?
If so could you point me in the right direction to find one? Would probably be easier for me to get it online.

 

I've checked some parts sites, but the part diagrams don't point it out clearly. Anyone that can give me a part number for the hanger or link to find the part?

 

FYI for anyone reading this, I'm trying to figure out the rattle from my knockoff HKS exhaust (have a G35), and as far as I can tell there is no hanger ahead of the W brace, and no location to mount a hanger. There are two studs coming from the chassis above the W brace that look like M7 or so size, but that would be a very inaccessible hanger spot.
