Helllo guys!

I've got a really weird problem. My passenger side window will not roll up or down when trying to use either door switch. I know it's not the motor because I can raise and lower the window by putting the key in the door keyhole and it works fine but the door switches do not work. The door switch for the driver side works just fine.

I've done some searching but I can't find any answers. Any help is appreciated.

Also inb4 Infiniti windows suck etc etc.

It doesn't sound like the motor since the Key works. But how well does it work? Is it slow, does it hesitate? Since taking apart the window motor and cleaning it is pretty easy and a FREE fix it maybe worth doing anyways. My first time took me about 90mins start to finish.

Other possibilities could be the BCM (Body Control Module?) I have no idea though...

Maybe when you have the door apart check and see if power is reaching the motor when using the window switch. (Light tester?)

 

Do you have the window lock button clicked down...? Check that before you take the door apart

 

Window lock FTW... thats happened to me... heh heh... lol

 

Yea..... It was my window lock button. Never thought of that since most cars lock button doesn't lock the driver side passenger window button..
