Get your seats repaired man. Go to an upholster near you and see what they would charge. I have seen some gnarly leather seats being brought back to like-new condition.

If that is the case and you don't have a good upholster shop near you, I would consider NorcalG's suggestion. Seat covers just look cheap. And it won't be fixing the rip in your seat, it'll just continue to widen as it is used.

I found leather seats.com too, they want $1K to replace your leather seat cover. And that's just factory, want to change the color the price goes up rapidly.... You're better off shopping around the upholstery shops in your neighborhood for someone to fix your seat....Gary

I rebadged my car to Nissan, etc (shut up..) and I also have a friend with his rebadged but way sicker and I asked him what he did about the Mt. Fuji on his seats and he told me to hop on eBay and look for leather seat covers. They sit really snug and aren't noticeable and are less than $100 I believe, like $60-$70. Just a suggestion.

What year is your car that the leather seats are ripping?

My first car was a Mazda POS and I tried putting leather seat covers on it. They looked so bad that I took them off and drove around in the ugly seats. For a G, I would consider getting them repaired. Just my .02

I don't know who the seller is. I just searched and found it. And I'm sure these covers are better than those ones that were for the Mazda. They're formed to the seat. My friend had them before he got Recaros and while I didn't notice at the time because I didn't have a G yet I'm sure he wouldn't have used them if it looked like crap. Anyways that's what I was gonna do sometime soon.

Our seats have a built in side airbag. Putting a seat cover on would probably be a bad idea since they don't "tear" like the original leather is designed to do. You should replace the seat or have it professionally repaired.
