I thought 6mt's had 298hp?
I'm guessing Church's dyno, they're known for high numbers. And yes, they have a dynapak

Why should 2 of the same care two different ppl get the same power? The car learns your driving habits and adjust to your needs. I friend dynoed his car w/ cai, exhaust and hfc and got 311. I am just missing the hfc and did 309. Just imangine if i had the hfc?i would be well over 311
Parts and power alone aren't the only things that determine how fast a car is. But you probably can't comprehend that if your reading and writing comprehension is that horrendous.
Not really. The engine DOES produce ~298HP. It just gets sapped by other things on it's way to the ground. A/C, alternator, exhaust, etc.
Similar to how you start with a 1/4 pound of meat and end up with a less than 1/4 burger to eat.

Ahh I see...good analogy. Makes perfect sense now.
on what dyno.. I dynoed 209 whp on a mustang dyno with just the MD 1/2 spacer and Ztube.
That's actually quite a good analogy haha. Now I want a burger.
Mustang dyno is known as the heartbreaker for a reason. If you want to make yourself feel better between the legs, go dyno on a dynapack.
Dynojet dynos. And like the guy posted above, mustang dynos read low.
after installing mods i usually just jack up the car and rev the engine. I tie a string on one of the wheels and i pull as hard as i can against the string with it spinning. I usually use this as a measure of horsepower. After installing my spacer and running this string dyno I think i have about 304hp. After I got the nismo cbe though, im pretty sure it shot up to like 330 because the string almost tore my arm out of the socket.
yeah, mustang dynos are TERRIBLE. was at a dyno day near my house recently and saw a fully bolted and tuned Hemi Challenger just barely break 300 w/a 303, he was pretty upset to say the least.
