Tweeter Issue

sup g35 drivers. i drive an 04 coupe with the bose package. few months ago, my driver side tweeter started crackling so i replaced only that single tweeter with a $8 set off ebay. when i play CD the driver side tweeter is off and the passenger one operates as it should. then when i switch to tape( i have a cassette to aux adapter) or radio, the driver side tweeter plays music as it should as well. i have tried adjusting my balance but when i add more to the left.. the driver side tweeter still doesn't play any sound at all. anyone know a fix?

You might want to post this question in the Audio/Video section if you haven't already. There are a couple of really knowledgeable people over there that might be able to help.
