1. yes.
2. replace your stock cats.
3. no. as long as your o2 sensors still work/don't break them.

Yes. Megan, I think, provides the non-foulers to keep the CEL off. You should check to see if they're included or not.

Headers are a terrible investment - again for the reasons you just said. I'm not a fan of HFC, or really anything other than ART Pipes - so I'd invest in those instead. If you can't spend $600 on them, find some FI HFCs for $300ish new.

long tube headers doesn't do much v6's, if you had a 6L v8, then thats a completely different story. Your best bang for your buck would be HFC's, tune, spacer, then exhaust.

If you have to pay to have them installed its going to hurt. If you can do it yourself not so bad. Kinetix is good quality for the price, I've seen several sets of them and they have all lasted and performed just as well as the other brands. Even had one guy who payed out the a$$ for fast intentions HFC and then had them fail on him 5000 miles later.

Keep in mind that you're going to need a tune for sure if you put on headers, you'll actually lose power without it. If you're not sure either way I'd say get the tune instead of the headers, it'll make a much bigger difference than just bolting on more parts and hoping for the best.

LTH have an advantage when using other mods such as: performance camshafts, forced induction and high flow intakes.

If you don't have performance camshafts as a minimum than headers (LTH or shorty's) are a waste of money on VQ's.

Long tube headers are better then the common shorty's when it comes to performance. Once you open up the rest of the exhaust and intake, you should see decent gains once tuned. And plus 1 on adding cams to the mix.
