Start Up Issue

So I am having an issue with starting up. When I go to start up the car it is really slugish and takes a bit to get the car started. I thought it could be the battery but I got it tested at autozone and o'rileys and they both said that it was a good battery.

I tested the voltage when I got home and It was 12.xx with the car off and 14.xx when the car was running. Now as far as I know this would mean that the battery is good and the alternator is good because its charging the battery..

The only other thing I have in mind would be that not that long ago I had new belts installed. They were making that squealing noise so I had them loosened. It fixed the noise. BUT could the pulleys be too loose that its causing the start up to be slugish like this? I had my dad take a look and he said that it looks like the pulley is slipping the belt for a moment.

Any info would be great. Thanks!

If your 100 percent sure its not ur battery check your cables for corrosion, then starter for drag. Even if you have 12 volts on your battery it doesn't mean its good. You have to load test it and stay above 10.5 volts at the right cold cranking amp. But to tell you the truth it sounds like its ur battery, put a jumper cable on it hooked to a different car and see if it sounds better.

The belts are for accessories only and shouldn't affect the starting of the car. Probably not the issue but it wouldn't hurt to check the throttle body and MAF for build up. Could be the solenoid/starter going bad too. I would also check the spark plugs. Anything else I think would throw a code.

Any codes popping up?
